Being 150lbs and only being 5′ 2″ is not okay. I’ve been saying this for months. Now it’s time I actually did something about it. I follow a lot of “weight loss” blogs on tumblr. I found one post by this girl freakofnutrition called the 100. It consists of the following: 100 jumping jacks, 90 crunches, 80 squats, 70 leg lifts, 60 jumping jacks, 50 crunches, 40 squats, 30 leg lifts, 20 jumping jacks and a 10 minute run. It kicked my ass this morning. I got to 30 some-odd jumping jacks and my dog attacked me. I guess she doesn’t like jumping jacks. I’ll have to do this behind closed doors from now on…

Aside from the “100,” I’ll be making healthier food choices, riding my bicycle and doing other outdoor activities, and playing my wii fit!

Let’s see if I can get down to 130 by June. Wish me luck!

My name is Janine and I am twenty-three years old. I moved back in with my parents the summer of 2010 after living in New York City for nine months. Although it took me three long years instead of two, I finished my course study in photography and am now a proud owner of an Associates degree in Photographic Imaging!
